Coaching for SaaS leadership teams.

When your growth runs faster than your capacity to regulate. Somatic coaching for executive teams and leadership in mid-sized software companies.

What we see in the industry

Typical patterns that surface in SaaS teams.

From first calls with executive teams and leadership groups in software companies, anonymised and consolidated. Not every topic applies to every team, but usually three of them do.

Sprint culture with no exhale

Two weeks of sprint, then retro, then next sprint. Structurally that makes sense. Physiologically, the nervous system never reaches park mode. Recovery turns into a “nice to have” that never happens.

Reactivity in strategy meetings

When growth numbers don’t add up, the mood tips. Arguments get harder, escalations faster, listening shrinks. Nobody wants this, but the system drifts there anyway.

Remote fatigue

After three years of remote-first, the energy is different. Calls instead of encounters, Slack instead of coffee breaks. The nervous system gets less bodily resonance with others, and that drains measurably.

Founder burnout just below the surface

Founders who are still functioning but internally on reserve. Usually named late, because nobody wants to say it in front of the team.

From real engagement

A SaaS leadership team wanting out of the tunnel.

Mid-sized SaaS provider · Hamburg 14-person leadership team · 2-day off-site + 4 follow-ups

From escalation mode back to real conversation.

After three quarters under high growth pressure, escalations showed up in almost every strategy meeting. The team described itself as “in the tunnel”: functional, but internally tense.

  • Escalations in meetings noticeably less frequent, because the team recognises its own early warning signs
  • Pause convention established: “three breaths, then answer” as a shared code
  • Two C-levels continued with their own 1:1 reflections
“That wasn’t a workshop, that was a translation. We now understand our own system.” — Co-CEO
What we actually do

Three formats, that have proven themselves in SaaS teams.

2 days

Leadership off-site

Executive team plus division heads, 2 days in a quiet setting. A nervous system check for each person, team reflection, establishing a shared pause convention.

6 months

In-house engagement

Modular engagement over two quarters. Monthly team days plus 1:1 sessions for key people. Actually changes something, because repetition happens in daily work.

1:1

Founder coaching

When the founder herself is running on reserve. Confidential 1:1 work over several months, without the team needing to know.

FAQ

What SaaS teams ask most often.

We’re a mid-sized SaaS company with 30 to 150 people. Does this fit?

Yes, that’s exactly the sweet spot. Larger companies often have their own People & Culture structures, smaller ones usually need other levers than coaching. Between 30 and 150 people is the phase where the nervous-system question operationally decides whether growth runs healthily or tips.

Does this work in remote-first setups?

Yes. 1:1 work runs remote, founder coaching runs remote, in-house engagements combine remote sessions with two or three on-site days per quarter. Leadership off-sites are classically on-site, because the format lives off the physical room.

We’ve already had classic mindset training. What’s different here?

Mindset training works with thoughts and beliefs. We additionally work directly with the nervous system, so with breath, perception and reactivity. That’s the lever mindset training doesn’t have, and it explains why after three weeks there’s usually nothing left.

We’re currently in Series-A or Series-B pressure. Is that more helpful or unhelpful?

Both. First: in funding phases the risk of founder burnout is highest. Second: this is also the phase where a quietly embedded coaching format moves the most, because decisions stack up. We usually start with pure founder coaching, team formats come after.

What does the format actually cost?

1:1 founder coaching from ~€3,900 for six sessions. Two-day leadership off-site from ~€8,500 depending on group size. Six-month in-house engagement is an individual concept. Concrete numbers come after the first call, with a clear investment and no obligation.
