Coaching for creative studios and agencies.

When creativity hits quarterly pressure and the team slowly but surely slides into exhaustion mode. Somatic engagement for founders, creative directors and entire teams.

What we see in the industry

Four patterns, common in creative teams.

From first calls with creative studios, design agencies and branding teams. Consolidated and anonymised. If three of them ring a bell, a conversation is worth it.

Creative pressure after an intense quarter

After Q1 or Q4 has demanded everything, the system isn’t open for the next creative phase. Ideas come, but nothing “clicks”. That isn’t a creative block. That’s reserve mode.

Silent burnout precursors in the team

Nobody says it out loud. But everyone knows: two people are close to tipping over. In creative teams the taboo is bigger than elsewhere, because “passion” is part of the identity.

Client-side reactivity

Difficult client calls, last-minute briefing changes, late revisions. That drains. When the capacity to regulate is missing, the system shifts into defence, not into solution.

Founders in an identity split

Still creative themselves, but also carrying business responsibility. Both modes need different nervous-system states. Without a conscious switch, this costs over time.

From real engagement

A creative studio wanting to exhale without guilt.

Creative / studio context 20 people · 1-day in-house + tools handover · 2026

After the intense phase: a shared exhale, without guilt.

After an extremely intense quarter, the team felt it “could no longer switch off”. Classic burnout precursors. But nobody wanted to say it out loud because the business kept running.

  • Language for one’s own exhaustion level emerged, no longer a taboo
  • “Mini resets” integrated into the workday (3 to 5 minutes, body-based)
  • Two people continued individually in 1:1
“We don’t have less to do. But we can now exhale without being ashamed of it.” — CEO
What we actually do

Three formats for creative teams.

1 day

In-house day after an intense quarter

A day in your studio. We take time to make the exhaustion level speakable, and hand over three mini-tools that fit into daily work.

3 months

Quarterly engagement

Spread across a quarter: kick-off day, monthly team sessions, optional 1:1 for key people. Ideal after a personnel change or before a big pitch phase.

1:1

Creative director coaching

Confidential 1:1 engagement for CDs, ECDs and founders juggling between staying creative and carrying responsibility. Over three to six months.

FAQ

What studio teams ask most often.

We’re a creative agency, not a corporation. Does this even fit?

Yes, especially then. Classic coaching is often built for corporate hierarchies and fits studio setups poorly. We work with the reality of small teams that switch between project peaks and downtime, and with the pressure of having to deliver creatively all the time.

Our creatives are skeptical of coaching. How do you reach them?

I don’t pitch it as coaching, but as a reflection and regulation format. No mindset-speak, no esoterics. We start with concrete observations from studio daily life and work from there. After 90 minutes it’s usually clear whether it brings something or not.

We have quarterly crunches with 60 to 70-hour weeks. Is one workshop enough?

A single workshop is an ignition, no more. If crunch cycles are structural, a modular in-house engagement over two quarters is needed. Otherwise it’s two days of relief and then the old spiral is back.

Online or on-site?

1:1 sessions run online, because that’s logistically more realistic. Studio-wide formats are usually on-site, because the format lives off the body-in-the-room. Hybrid setups are possible, we discuss that in the pre-call.

What does a studio day cost?

Day workshop for teams from 8 people from ~€3,900. Modular six-month in-house engagement is an individual concept. Concrete numbers come after the first call, with a clear investment and no obligation.
